Solictor/Legal Practitioner Director (Main)
Michael is the Legal Practitioner Director of the firm. He is a general practitioner who completes most areas of law, including Family, Criminal, Property and general legal matters.
Michael has a particular interest in Family Law where he has represented clients as their advocate in Interim Property & Parenting Hearings and Hearings where final Orders have been granted. He has been a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland since 2006.
Michael also has a keen interest in Commercial Law, Property Law and Conveyancing. He worked as a Business Banker for 6 years at a leading Financial Institution (4 of these years in Dalby) before completing his Bachelor of Laws Degree externally, at QUT. He has also completed a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Banking & Finance) at the University of Southern Queensland. He enjoys completing farming and agricultural conveyancing.
He has a personal interest and desire to assist people in all areas of his practice, but especially in Wills and Estates. The firm seeks advice and occassionally obtains precedents from more specialised firms or instructs barristers to settle Wills for larger more complex entity structures and arrangements.
Michael appears in the Magistrates Court for general Court work, including Criminal Law matters, as well as advising clients with Queensland Civil and Administrative Appeals Tribunal (QCAT) matters.
